Monika Decker
Engineer
Monika grew up camping under the towering redwood trees in California. She loves the outdoors and after earning her B.A. from UC Berkeley became a seasonal outdoor educator. She worked as a park ranger in Yellowstone, Kenai Fjords, and Boston Harbor Islands and as a ski instructor in Crested Butte and Stowe. When not in the office, Monika is usually skiing, backpacking, or playing a boardgame.
“After spending a summer working as a hydrology technician in the Willamette National Forest, Monika earned her M.S. at Stanford University in Environmental Engineering with a focus in hydrology and water resources.”
